Dr. Kara Lavender Law Speaks About Ocean Plastics: March 29th!

Join us on Thursday, March 29th at 7:30 pm in the Hermann Room of the Falmouth Public Library to hear SEA Research Professor Dr. Kara Lavender Law talk about the growing problem of  ocean plastics pollution and what we can do about it. Check out the flyer here and please spread the word.

Dr. Law is a physical oceanographer and a leading expert on marine plastics. She is also a founder of the local Trash Should’t Splash Initiative, a collaboration between SEA and Falmouth Water Stewards’ Skip the Straw Campaign, which aims to inspire behavior change at the individual, institutional and business level around the use of disposable plastics.
